Not far from Dolní Bukovsko lies a carp water — Hamr pond. Almost 3 hectares of water set in the middle of wide fields, far from busy roads and civilisation. Just you, the water and absolute peace.

Although the water is large, we keep only two fishing swims with facilities, so that every angler has maximum space and privacy. The pond is richly stocked — the main fish is carp, with some specimens over 20 kilograms. You will also find plenty of grass carp, sturgeon, pike and catfish.

Hamr is a place where the peace of nature meets the adrenaline of angling. Come here to relax — and maybe get your hands on the fish of a lifetime.

Rules at Hamr

Fishing rules at Hamr pond (must be read and followed)
  • This water is strictly catch & release.
  • Please keep everything as tidy as possible.
  • A maximum of 3 rods is allowed, each with no more than two rigs with single hooks (barbed hooks allowed).
  • Spring-feeder (“sucker”) rigs are prohibited.
  • Taking baits out by boat and playing fish from the boat are allowed.
  • When playing a fish, the angler must get it out of the water as gently as possible and handle it according to angling ethics — in particular, never drag it along the bank.
  • Lighting fires anywhere other than the designated place is strictly prohibited.
  • A landing net (min. 70 cm) and an unhooking mat are mandatory.
  • When you finish fishing, leave the swim in the same state you found it on arrival.
  • A rubbish bag is available on the dam — please take your rubbish home with you.
  • Please have fish antiseptic with you (Betadine, Klinik…).

This water has two swims with facilities and one day-ticket swim (no. 3 — arrive in the morning, leave in the evening). It is also suitable for private fishing competitions.

Arrival and departure

Arrival at the water from 14:00.

Departure no later than 11:00 on the last day.

Swim no. 3 is for day fishing — you arrive in the morning and leave in the evening of the same day, with no overnight stay. It is booked by the day (one or more days), each day for a single group; agree the exact time with the water manager. Please contact the water manager before you arrive.
